PLAY DEAD

Play Dead, which has been described in English press with words like "morbid" and "deathly," turned out to consist of four live English lads who performed a not-quite-live rock concert on Wednesday night in front of just over 100's paying.
After a traditionally mushy introduction, I was pleasantly surprised after two songs, but already after three songs were really bored. The ideas and imagination were over and the concert marched on in monotonous rhythm with heavy rhythms, smooth vocals and sharp guitars.
The stereotypical set, guitar, bass and drums, requires a more mixed repertoire than a stubborn guitar slammer that raises no song over the crowd.
Of Dead's big rock invasion from England to Sweden, Play Dead had to be one of the more meaningless bands. Unlucky for Rock magazine who, however, on Saturday can repair the damage with Australian Saints. I am more than convinced of that.
